Poly Fest.

The 3  things I enjoy doing in the poly fest.

1. doing games and seeing people dancing in  the      stage.

2.  seeing people performing in the stage.

3.having lunch. 

Polyfest

Kia Ora, talofa lava, malo e lelei, faakalofa lahi atu, kia orana, bula vinaka, namaste and greetings!!  It’s Pasifika week in Aotearoa, this means it’s a week long celebration of all things Pacific.  This includes the birthday dance we had with Mrs Tele’a!  Part of the celebration is the Polyfest!  This Thursday we are planning to travel to Manukau to take part in some workshops and then visit stages.  The two stages we will be visiting will be the Maori and Diversity stages.  Did you know that this event - the Polyfest celebrates 40 years since it’s beginning?  Awesome isn’t it!  

People dance because they do it for the family and themselves and they love their culture.

These are the steps one might take to performing at the Polyfest.

1.Audition-show their talents and movie

2. practice-you need to go to all the practices

3. Fitness-you need to stay fit and healthy

4. Make costumes-

5. Fundraise

6.concert-to get feed back

7. Transport-bus to Polyfest - need money 

8. Get dressed - oil, make-up, paint , costumes , props

Mrs tele'a birthday

Today is Mrs Tele’a’s birthday. Team 5 sang Happy Birthday to her. We all went to our literacy classes. Our class went out into the street, she told Hannah to go and turn on the music. All the boys from our class and some of the boys from other classes ran out and started to dance. Miss Peato, Mr Wiseman and Quasia danced as well. it was so fun

were going out side and going to a class that had so many nice gardens. We went to take a video of me and Meiala tilki.ng about the gardens. Then we went back to

room 3 and we have to show it to miss tele’a.

On Tuesday it was miss peato birthday. Mr wiseman was plaing a guitar and he kicked the door

and Mrs Molala Miss Clark and Mrs Tele’a came out of the door and sang Happy birthday

and miss peato was so surprised and the year 7 and 8 were singing
